Panel Building Technician

This is what your day looks like:

06:30 - 09:00
You start your day between 06:30 and 9:00. Because we have a flexible workweek, you can decide how to distribute the hours over the day or week. Of course, grab a nice cup of coffee in the canteen before you start. When you start up your computer or Chromebook at your workstation, you see the news on the intranet. You can find everything digitally via the PC.

09:00 - 12:00
You work in the workshop with your colleagues on the mechanical and electrical assembly of distribution panels and control panels. During the short coffee breaks, you have a cup in the canteen. On the video screen, you read the internal messages and can catch up with colleagues. After the break, you enjoy good music while wiring the panels that are your responsibility today.

12:30 - 14:45
After lunch, you continue working on 'your' project. You keep an eye on the progress because you want to ensure we deliver to the customer on time. You work based on a schedule and production package from the work planner and the warehouse. You follow the standards, guidelines, and assembly instructions to create a product that stands for the quality our customers expect from us. At 14:45, you meet your colleagues in the canteen for a short break.

14:45 - 17:00
You continue working on your project. You have contact with your colleagues from the warehouse if you need anything. You get your info from the lead technician. When you finish for the day, you leave your workplace tidy. Tools go back into your personal tool cart. This way, you know exactly where to find everything you need tomorrow. Maybe you started early this morning and can leave a bit earlier. Or are you saving up hours to start your weekend earlier on Friday afternoon?

Will you become a specialist or an all-rounder?

Within the role of Panel Building Technician at Elektro Internationaal, there is plenty of room to work independently and make your own decisions. You are quality-oriented, take responsibility in your work, and are collegial. You contribute to a good atmosphere and are helpful. You are open to further developing yourself in your craftsmanship. What do you have?

• You have a technical education at MBO level focused on Electrical Engineering.
• If you have experience in panel building, that is certainly a plus.
• A good level to read schematics and convert them into a distribution panel or control panel.
