Elektro Internationaal is a member of Brancheplan Verpakkingen with a focus on reducing packaging materials. We are also affiliated with Circolektra - a circular chain initiative for collecting old distribution boards and components with the aim of achieving the highest degree of circularity. With the EcoVadis bronze label, we show companies in the chain how we, as a company, have organized our processes regarding labor & human rights, environment, ethical issues, and sustainable procurement, and where possible, strive for improvement. Since 2025 we are also in posession of the ISO 14001 certificate.
Elektro Internationaal is a member of FME: the entrepreneurs' organization for the technological industry. Additionally, Elektro Internationaal has partnered with pioneers and game changers in the field of shore power and direct current by joining the Onshore Power Supply Network and Current/OS. Together, we are considering the best ways to provide shore power facilities to make the shipping industry more sustainable and to develop a standard for second grid (direct current) solutions with the aim of relieving the traditional power grid.
