Ei•PDU

The Ei•pdu system is developed in the Okken distribution system of Schneider-Electric and is standard equipped with a shielded, high short-circuit resistant busbar system of 50kA, with a nominal current of 1050 Amperes.

Selective escort protection

Certified distribution cassettes can be hot-plugged into the rail system. A maximum of six distribution cassettes can be installed onto each panel. These cassettes can each handle a maximum current of 160 ampere. Each distribution cassette is fitted with a main breaker that also serves as a fully selective short-circuit protection for all downstream circuit breakers.

Applicable almost everywhere

These unique pre-protection devices that limit the risk of short-circuit pave the way for applying downstream circuit breakers with high short-circuit ratings and without selectivity limitations. Due to these unique combinations Ei•pdu panels can be used in virtually every possible company network. Even networks with extremely high short-circuit ratings.

Hot-swappable: safely expand under load

The unique patented IP2X clusters allow you to hot-plug additional components into the main rail system. The clusters are installed safely and with great ease and will supply power to the distribution cassettes.

The Ei•pdu system enables straightforward metering of power consumption at any possible level: per distribution unit, EiPDU cassette or end group.
