Elektro Internationaal has recently entered into a strategic partnership with Santon Holland, product line Circuit Breaker Services. This collaboration offers new possibilities for testing, maintaining, and replacing end-of-life circuit breakers from various manufacturers.
Thanks to an innovative solution from Santon Holland, circuit breakers from different brands — including ABB, Siemens, and AEG — can now be exchanged for Schneider Electric models. This enables Elektro Internationaal, which has been promoting its expertise in the Schneider system for many years, to serve its customers even more efficiently. It means that customers can rely on the trusted service regardless of the brand of their circuit breaker.
Elektro Internationaal regularly encounters situations where a circuit breaker must be replaced. This can be due to various reasons, such as end-of-life status or discontinued support from the manufacturer.
“When a circuit breaker is replaced, the connecting copper work behind it also needs to be adjusted. With our mobile copper workshop, we can fabricate this entirely to size,” says Andre de Widt, Sr. Sales Engineer Services at Elektro Internationaal. “But this typically takes around 8 to 10 hours per circuit breaker, which results in significant costs for companies—especially when cooling systems or other essential systems must be shut down. Thanks to Santon’s Sidunn conversion kits, on-site bending, punching, and fitting of copper is no longer necessary. Replacement can be completed in just 2 to 4 hours. That is a substantial reduction in downtime.”
The service engineers at Elektro Internationaal have also completed extensive training with Schneider Electric and are certified to maintain all MasterPact circuit breakers.
“When our service engineers inspect a panel equipped with MasterPact breakers, they can also include the Compact NSX series,” De Widt explains. “They use Schneider Electric’s latest AI tool to assess the maintenance condition. Currently, this is available for NSX breakers up to 250A, but it will be expanded in the future to include the 400 to 630 series.”
This combination of years of experience and new technologies makes Elektro Internationaal a strong partner for maintaining and replacing circuit breakers.
By partnering with Santon Holland and adopting innovative solutions, Elektro Internationaal continues to lead the market. The combination of expertise in Schneider systems and the smart Sidunn retrofit solutions from Santon Holland provides customers with an efficient and reliable partner for the maintenance of Schneider breakers and the replacement of circuit breakers, regardless of their brand or configuration.
