Working together on the energy of tomorrow

We welcomed the GeLUK consortium to our Live Lab in Woerden. GeLUK is a collaboration between six public-private partnerships in the Utrecht region that brings together the business community and the education sector to accelerate the sustainability transition.

More than 40 experts are dedicated to creating a healthy and sustainable living environment and supporting SMEs with climate and energy-related challenges.

During the visit, our colleague Jos Jansen gave a presentation and a tour of the Live Lab. He demonstrated how we are working on practical solutions for the energy transition using technologies such as AC and DC microgrids, energy storage, and smart energy management. We are happy to make both our facilities and our expertise available for this purpose, as the energy transition calls for innovation, skilled professionals, and—above all—collaboration. It is rewarding to combine knowledge and practice across various areas of expertise to help advance the energy transition!
